“I’m excited to see the effort our members are putting forth to raise the reflexology profile in Alberta.

As you know, World Reflexology Week was the last week of September and saw our AB RAC members participating in a variety of events offering mini sessions and information to the public.  Karen Bandy and Linda Galvin had full sign-up sheets and were kept busy (see picture 1).  Lis Kunzi organized a group of volunteers to do the same at The Market, who were kept busy over a two day period.  Well done ladies, we couldn’t do this without your efforts, and the efforts of your volunteers.

In October, Susan Greer participated in the Lethbridge Police Services Run, giving treatments to run participants, and conducted a reflexology presentation at the invitation of TOPS in Coaldale.

October also saw the University of Lethbridge’s ‘Life Balance Fair’.  Linda Rose and Susan Greer (see picture 2) participated in this event, offering information and mini treatments to faculty and students.  They were kept pretty busy.

Everyone has reported that they have received very positive feedback.

We would love to hear what you’ve been up to promoting reflexology in your area.  It’s a great way to connect with the public AND earn CEU’s.”
